Amy Nicklin: Championing Accessible Advertising

Amy Nicklin, Senior Brand Manager, has been recognised for her pioneering work in making advertising more accessible to all. Her dedication to fostering inclusivity within P&G and the wider industry has truly set a benchmark for what it means to advocate for diversity in advertising.

Amy said: "It is a privilege to be recognised by ISBA for the 2025 President’s Award. As brands, we should aim to reach everyone effectively with our advertising. I am so proud to be an advocate for accessibility, encouraging industry to communicate with people in the way that is most helpful to them”.

Amy's work has significantly advanced our understanding of accessibility in advertising, ensuring that our messages resonate with diverse audiences. As a passionate member of the Ad Accessibility Network, she has been a catalyst for real change, engaging in initiatives that break down barriers and enhance the accessibility of our advertising content. Amy's work is a vital reminder that representation matters, and her leadership is helping to create a more inclusive advertising ecosystem.

Matt Thomas: Driving Innovation with Origin

On the other hand, Matt Thomas, Senior Director - Brand & Media Northern Europe, has been recognised for his instrumental role in driving Project Origin, the Cross Media Reach Measurement program. His advocacy has played a crucial part in driving influence and adoption of this groundbreaking initiative among advertisers, media owners and agencies.

Matt said: “Being recognised with the ISBA President Award is a tremendous honour, but it’s also a reflection of the collaborative spirit at P&G. We have been working with Origin in the UK for over 5 years, helping to shape and build the program for the industry. We are now at an exciting stage with real campaign data available in Origin and extended-market availability which represents a significant step forward in how we measure cross media reach and frequency. I am truly excited about the impact this will have on advertising effectiveness, strengthening media as a growth driver for the business".

As the advertising landscape evolves, the need for effective measurement systems becomes increasingly important. Matt's commitment to this initiative has not only accelerated its progress over the past year but has also reinforced P&G’s position as a leader in advertising innovation.
